Southport BID is an independent organisation that represents more than 900 businesses in Southport town centre.

Its main focus is to support and improve the vibrancy and vitality of the town centre by investing monies, raised from a levy, sponsorship and other funding sources into a programme of events, environmental improvements and safety projects, as well as enhancing the marketing of the town centre as a premier coastal tourist resort.
