We work hard to promote Southport
In 2017 we launched our Southport Independents campaign. The campaign aims to celebrate the unique and wonderful small businesses in Southport and help people, both local and visitors, to rediscover and unearth the hidden gems of Southport and experience shopping, eating and socialising in Southport in a whole new light.
Free to join for BID levy payers, the campaign is supported by a website and blog and each business participating receives a page on the website. To be listed or to share your events and offers please tag us in posts or send information to us.

Follow Southport Independents
Our dedicated retail website was launched in 2018. The site, shoppinginsouthport.com, is a sister site to Visit Southport and acts as a full directory for all shops within the town centre. With over 200 shops (both independent and high street) listed it is a perfect one stop guide for visitors and local shoppers to find what they are looking for.
The easy to navigate directory lets shoppers discover shops by category or by location and explore what the town has to offer. The site and its social channels will regularly share offers, events and sales news to followers.
There is also a full Where to Eat guide of all restaurants, cafes and bars to allow people to plan a full day out in the town.

Follow Shopping in Southport
We work in partnership with Marketing Southport to fund and deliver great seasonal campaigns for the town. We have been responsible for the delivery of three annual multi-media seasonal campaigns at Christmas highlighting retail and events over the festive period.
For 2018, we have joint funded a full agency campaign for summer and autumn with paid digital advertising, radio coverage and more.
February half term 2019 we launched the first ever Southport Restaurant Week.
Packed with exciting offers, pop up themed events and great value set menus all designed to help highlight and promote venues and encourage people to discover all Southport’s Eating Out scene has to offer. With it’s own dedicated listing website, the campaign is backed by regional digital adverts. Over 35 offers were submitted by over 25 different restaurants and cafes. The event is free to join and open to all levy payers
